What this is. Back Your Side is an entertainment product. You pay to publicly back a team in a community battle. The battle score is headcount: one person, one head. There are no odds, no winnings and no payouts of any kind. This is not gambling, betting, investing or a raffle — what you buy is a permanent entry on the Backer Wall and bragging rights.

Refunds. “No refunds, only glory” is a joke on the battle page; this is the real policy. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. If you paid by mistake, were charged twice, or an entry never appeared on the wall, contact us within 14 days and we will refund the payment. Refunded entries are voided: they come off the wall, the leaderboards, and the team count.

Eligibility. You must be 18 or older. Battle themes may reference alcohol; we take no position on drinking and do not encourage consumption.

Content and links. Display names, brand names, links and descriptions must be lawful and non-abusive. Links are shown with a nofollow/sponsored attribute, may be held for review, and can be removed at our discretion without refund if they violate these rules (spam, scams, malware, hate, adult content, or impersonation).

Tree pledge. When a battle settles, we plant one tree for every paid entry on the winning side, through a recognized reforestation partner. Planting receipts and partner certificates are published on the settled battle's page so the claim is verifiable. The pledge is funded from our revenue; it is not a donation made on your behalf and is not tax-deductible for backers.

Claim-a-rank. Claiming a leaderboard spot is a new payment, not a transfer. The previous holder keeps their wall entry. Ranks can be re-claimed by anyone at any time.

Limitation. The service is provided as-is; we may pause or settle battles, and we may void entries that break these terms.
